Selwyn Pearson - Trainer and Assessor

Selwyn has extensive experience in managing and leading teams he which developed when he spent twenty four years in Australia's retail industry. He has held a variety of retail management roles and more recently his work lead to a focus on retail merchandising and business marketing including administration.

He offers high quality communication and personnel skills particularly in the field of training and assessment. His recent undertakings in the industry training field have highlighted a natural aptitude to motivate and inspire others to fulfil personal goals.

Since returning to New Zealand he has studied and implemented strategies in the field of adult education and workplace assessment to develop professional expertise in his career. He has been a leader in the continued improvement in workplace assessment.

Selwyn has the ability to learn and then use the learning from reading in practical ways in business management and administration and in sports management. 

Selwyn has an interest in personal development, which he explores through a wide range of activities in particular Toastmasters International, where has undertaken a number of executive positions.
